History of the Garden State Opera
 

The Garden State Opera was founded in 1999 with the purpose of offering quality opera productions at inexpensive ticket prices to New Jersey audiences.  GSO has performed in Passaic, Essex and Bergen counties with professional singers and musicians from the NYC metropolitan area. The current is the 7th season of the company.

                                 Productions
GSO productions are varied featuring traditional operas, premieres and rarely heard
works. The company features talented singers selected from competitive auditions. The productions are fully staged, with orchestra and supertitles.

                                       Concert Halls
GSO has performed in Clifton in the Auditoriums of the Woodrow Wilson  and Christopher Columbus Middle Schools, of  the Clifton High School and at the Jewish Y; in Caldwell at the First Presbyterian Church and at Caldwell College,    in Maywood and at the Wayne Valley High School Auditorium..
